De Heikei is a center for Care, Education and Rehabilitation where PSW, Onderwijsgroep Buitengewoon and Adelante provide quality education to children and young people with severe multiple disabilities, combined with the right care. When politicians ended the regulations that exempted children with significant care needs from compulsory education, room emerged to join forces and develop a center for Care, Education and Rehabilitation. The result is a unique collaboration. Our vision? All children go to school. Including children with significant care needs. The center for Care, Education and Rehabilitation is a first step toward making this a reality.
