For many years now, the Dutch and Belgian provinces of Limburg have celebrated the Oud Limburgs Schuttersfeest (OLS) on the first Sunday of July; the largest cultural and historical event in Limburg. Each year, many thousands of visitors come to the OLS to watch around 135 shooting guilds compete against each other in various contests.
