Filament is our favourite way to build full-featured admin environments and internal tools quickly: open source, modern and very fast to develop with.
What is Filament?
Filament is an open source framework on top of Laravel and Livewire for admin panels and internal applications:
- Tables, forms and dashboards that look right out of the box
- Roles, permissions and multilingual support built in
- No licence costs, large active community
- Quick to extend with custom work
Because the foundation is so complete, build time goes into what makes your application unique instead of into standard plumbing.
Why Nettt?
We have built five applications with Filament so far and more are coming: for new admin environments this is usually our first choice.
It also powers our own internal tooling, so what we recommend to clients is what we use daily ourselves. Coming from Laravel Nova? We will gladly explain when switching makes sense and when it does not.
Frequently asked questions
Both are admin panels on Laravel. Filament is open source and more flexible for custom work; Nova is a paid, official Laravel product. For new projects we usually choose Filament.
No, complete applications are built with it: client portals, planning tools, administrations. Anything with logins, forms and overviews is a good fit.
