Website with CMS, brick blend visualiser and AI image generation for Engels Baksteen (baksteen.nl).
For Engels Baksteen we developed a website with a content management system and additional web applications. Through the website, the company presents its range in a clear way. The CMS makes it easy to manage products and content yourself, and we take care of the hosting and maintenance.
A standout feature is the BrixMix blend visualiser: customers and architects mix brick sortings themselves and immediately see what their facade will look like. Every product page shows sorting codes and a specification form, so requests arrive complete at the sales office. Together with Engels we also explored the use of AI for generating brick and facade imagery.
The challenge
You do not pick brick from a list: colour and blend determine how an entire facade looks. Customers wanted to see that in advance, and the sales office wanted requests without missing specifications.
Our approach
We built the BrixMix visualiser that lets you mix sortings and see the facade result immediately, and set up the product pages for complete requests: sorting codes, specifications and a request form per product.
The result
Visitors experiment with blends themselves before getting in touch, and requests come in fully specified. The website grew from brochure to sales tool.
