International inspection platform for roofing: thousands of inspections across eight countries, from field survey to automatic report.
For Soprema, a global manufacturer of waterproofing and roofing systems, we develop and maintain an inspection platform that runs in eight countries. Inspectors record roofs with photos, measurements and structured checklists; the platform turns these into complete reports through EasyDocu document generation, including U-value calculations.
The platform keeps growing: the roadmap includes an offline-first PWA for the field and AI that detects defects in photos, converts spoken findings into text and automatically summarises reports.
The challenge
Inspections happen on rooftops, often without coverage, in multiple countries and languages. The data has to come in structured and reach the client as a professional report, without inspectors spending their evenings writing everything up.
Our approach
A central Laravel platform with country-specific configuration, structured inspection forms and automatic document generation. Large photo volumes are stored and processed efficiently; the system now manages more than a terabyte of inspection data.
The result
Thousands of inspections per year run through the platform. The report is ready the moment the inspector climbs off the roof, in the local language and house style.
