Vivix Prints
Fabric print configurator in four languages: upload your own design, see a live preview at real fabric dimensions and send hi-res print files straight to production.
For Vivix Prints we built a configurator under the Bordoni brand that lets customers have their own design printed on fabric. You upload an image, see live how it turns out on the chosen fabric and size, and order right away.
The customer sees a preview; production receives something else: a hi-res print file at 150 dpi in the exact dimensions, generated automatically and delivered through an API. No manual file checks, no email threads about resolutions. The configurator runs in Dutch, English, French and Italian.
The challenge
What the customer sees on screen has to match exactly what comes out of the printer, even at large fabric sizes. And uploading heavy files has to work smoothly, in four languages, on any device.
Our approach
We built an upload and render pipeline that keeps previews light for the browser while preserving the original resolution for printing. At checkout the system generates the production file at 150 dpi in the actual dimensions and delivers it to the printer through an API.
The result
Customers configure and order without a sales rep in between; production receives print-ready files without manual work. The entire process from upload to print job is automated.
