Our own AI agents and MCP tools: assistants that write quotes, log hours, watch our monitoring and create tasks in the systems we work with every day.
The best way to know what AI agents can do is to work with them every day. That is why we built our own MCP server (Model Context Protocol): a collection of tools that lets AI assistants work safely with our systems.
Our assistants search our knowledge base, create tasks in Asana, log hours and draft quotes in Gripp, read monitoring from Oh Dear and statistics from Pirsch, process email and keep our calendar up to date. Each colleague gets exactly the tools that fit their role through a personal login.
What we learn here, we build on for clients: from chatbots with their own knowledge to AI assistants that work in your systems through a dedicated MCP server.
The challenge
AI assistants only become truly useful when they can reach your systems: customers, projects, tasks, monitoring. But that has to happen safely, with the right permissions per person, and without data floating around uncontrolled.
Our approach
We built our own MCP server on Laravel with tools per domain: project management, time tracking, quotes, monitoring, email and calendar. Access runs per user through roles, so everyone only sees the tools they need.
The result
At Nettt, AI is not a demo but a daily tool: quotes are drafted faster, monitoring is actively watched and routine work fades into the background. And we answer every client question about AI agents from our own production experience.
